Eternal circle
Will you survive the storm?
"Eternal circle" is not a martial art but
rather a continuation of the warrior
spirit which has endured sense the

What is Abadi Lingkaran Kuntao Silat?
The truth is that nothing exists that is not eternal circle but thats another matter all together,
but Abadi Lingkaran (Eternal Circle) is not a martial art! It is a set of principles, philosophies
and methodologies that we believe, when applied to one's life will bring about a state of
balance through which one struggles to fulfill his/her own potential to achieve the perfection of
body, mind and soul. With that said, Abadi Lingkaran Kuntao Silat can be devastating when
applied to combat, utilizing a no nonsense and no holds barred approach, its only aim is to
stop the attacker cold, efficiently, with minimal effort, its mandate is the survival of the
practitioner. With the ability to utilize a diatribe of techniques and styles both external and
internal, hard and soft. Covering all aspects of combat from striking, joint manipulation to
throwing, sweeping and ground fighting, the practitioner is not limited by rigid and artificial
rules or system dogma. It should be pointed out that this methodology does not focus only on
the aspect of combat but healing also, not just the physical but the intellectual and spiritual as
well. Rather than having Dan grades its ranks are denoted by levels or classes and the
sashes which the practitioners have with their uniforms. There are 7 levels or classes in all,
prajurit (warrior ), praktisi (practitioner), sarjana (scholar), magang instruktur (apprentice
instructor), mengasosiasikan instruktur (associate instructor), guru (teacher) and the final level
is reserved for the head master, or Maha Guru (great teacher), and his successors. The art
itself, the techniques and the knowledge it contains are closely guarded secrets shared only
with members of the society and its High Knowledge reserved for the most Sr. Gurus (inner
circle disciples) however to give you a brief summery of the (philosophy). At the heart of
eternal circle is the principle that bela diri (martial arts) is not simply combat but rather a law
and force of nature. Every living thing from the single cell organism, bacteria to fish, birds,
humans and even trees, will protect themselves from harm, both externally and internally. The
cat develops means of escaping, the dogs attempt to eat it, the ant will defend its colony to
the death. Viruses develop ways through chemical and bio-mechanical means to overcome
an immune system’s defenses. One must then conclude that bela diri or self-defense is a
universal law in the same order as gravity or electro magnetism. This force under which all
living things operate can be tapped into and used to advance and preserve the life of the
practitioner. In keeping with this core premise, as was stated earlier, bela diri must be applied
outwardly and inwardly, meaning body, mind and spirit, it must become a part of the
practitioner and their lives. Combat, healing techniques, civil service, nutrition and health are
the outward manifestation of Abadi Lingkaran Kuntao Silat, education, self reflection,
spirituality and ethics are internal manifestations of Abadi Lingkaran Kuntao Silat. All of these
things are connected and unified for a single reason, God's LOVE OF LIFE this is Abadi
Lingkaran Kuntao Silat at its simplest.
